Floriani Template Tearaway

Your design is almost as big as the space that will contain it. Even 1/8" off center, and the work will be ruined. How do you ensure perfect embroidery placement?

Floriani Template Tearaway is the answer. A printable, translucent, self-adhesive template paper, Floriani Template Tearaway allows you to preview placement on the background fabric and use the template gridlines to position the needle for an exact result every time.

1. Use an inkjet printer and digitizing or design cataloging software to print a full-size image of the design on a sheet of Template Tearaway. Trim close to the design edges for easier handling. Be sure the horizontal and vertical centerlines, and their intersection at the design center, are clearly visible.
   
   
   
   
2. Peel the template off the backing sheet.
   
   
   
   
3. Position the template on the hooped fabric and finger press gently to adhere.
   
    
   
   
4. Because the template material is translucent, the background fabric details are visible through it and exact placement is easy.
   
   
   
   
5. Use the machine's controls to position the needle at the design center.
   
   
   
   
6. Remove the template paper from the hooped fabric. Replace it on the backing paper for storage and use it again.
   
   
   
   
7. Stitch the design.
   
   
   
   
8. Perfect placement!
